Some of Dave's first gear

Some of Dave's earliest gear in 2005; MOLLE drop-leg panel with three 2-mag pouches, single point sling, buttstock mag pouch and the ever-famous MOLLE Coffee Cup Holder.

Our motto at Fight and Flight Tactical is "DURABLE GEAR FOR THE TIP OF THE SPEAR".  This sums up our mission in a single phrase.  Our mission at Fight and Flight Tactical is to outfit warriors on the sharp end of the stick with the best equipment we can, configured to meet their individual needs, built to take a beating and still hold together and perform.

I (Dave Watson, the owner) have been sewing to some extent since I was a kid. When I joined the Army two months after 9-11, I found that sewing was a useful skill to have. I'd sew rank and patches, do uniform repairs and even did Class A uniform setups for small fees out of my barracks room. I started making gear primarily to fill needs that I had at the time, but could not acquire or couldn't afford to buy myself. My first bit of kit was a MOLLE drop-leg panel, a single-mag buttstock pouch and three 2-mag pouches. From there I just made whatever I needed and started making it for others on a custom basis. When I returned home from my second deployment to Iraq in 2006, I decided that I could do this as a side job and eventually, when I was medically retired, do it as a full-time job.

In 2002, I started out by running a tailor shop out of my barracks room, repairing uniforms, sewing patches, altering and setting up Class A uniforms, and gear repairs. In 2005, I was working with canvas and cheap ACU pattern cloth from Wal-Mart. Now I work quality MIL-SPEC materials, in a variety of colors, styles and patterns, with industrial equipment. I am constantly evolving my designs to meet the specific needs of individuals and organizations, to fit the ever changing mission requirements of our customer base and generating "spin-off" products to create new but similar products to meet the needs of our customers. I have set a high standard of quality and customer service. Put simply, if you're not happy, I'm not happy and I will work to make it right.

Whether it's a mag pouch or a full set of kit, I will custom tailor it to your needs or update my designs to meet the common needs of our customer base.

Our customer base includes:

Department of Homeland Security

US Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy and the Coast Guard

In short, I am no longer able to be in the fight (was medically retired in 2009 due to injuries sustained in the line of duty), but I feel that I can still contribute by supplying you with the best tools that I can conjure up. I will custom-make you exactly what it is that you need and want; and ensure that I am creating the best gear that I can without sacrificing quality, while still at a reasonable price. You, our soldiers, Special Operators, Federal and local Law Enforcement, groups with classified acronyms, your everyday "gear-do" and everyone else on the "tip of the spear" serving in harms' way to preserve our freedoms; we are here for you.

To all of you, from all of us at Fight and Flight Tactical - Thank you for choosing us to fill your tactical needs!
