Designed to carry a medical kits that rolls to about 16" long with a 6" diameter, on a EMT/Firefighter vest with 3 rows of MOLLE webbing on the belt. The original idea was just an extended GP Large Pouch, but we found a better solution. Our first change was that even with compression straps, a square pouch is going to have a lot of loose material that is going to flop around as the customer runs and moves around. So, we narrowed the top and bottom, and kept a 6” minimum diameter by contouring the ends. There is still 2 compression straps, anchored on the bottom, running through 2 columns of MOLLE webbing to keep them straight, and meeting up with 2 ladderlocs on top. There is some extra webbing to secure the top of the roll to the bottom of the vest for extra stability. We also gave it silenced paracord zipper pulls, to make it easier to grab and open behind ones back. Includes 4 short MALICE clips. In the last photo you can see where I took 2 large towels (since we did not have the medical roll on hand) and folded and rolled them to 16”-17” wide and 6” in diameter, and they fit just fine with no cramming squishing or stuffing needed.
