We thought that our patch panel was lacking in any other functionality other than to, well... attach patches to. So, we came up with this; the 4x4 Hybrid Patch Panel. It can hold a dizzying array of items in and on it, and it even includes two pieces of shock cord and two pull tabs for making it work even better as a mag shingle, as well as for contents retention in general. You can carry mags, flashlights, knives, small first aid items, multitools, sunglasses, pepper spray, batteries, etc in the two pouches, then attach subloads, patches, chemlights, caribiners, pens, slim flashlights, medical shears, seat belt cutters, clip lights, or any hook-and-loop compatible items one can think of in the PALS webbing.
